All-Guild News

Due to the mass exodus of several of our PVP members last week, we found ourselves lacking some officers. After long discussion we promoted Ian and Stu to officer status.

Scions officers are now:

Recently we have been talking about teaming up with the guild Corithians.

Due to the lack of people around during summer hols/loss of interest until Lich King, both guild have found themselves with a lack of people geared or present for the 25 man raids. (which I think is amazing since Scions is now the #1 guild in terms of numbers of lv 70s in Nagrand... an impressive 109 at last count) so duly, after many chats and a Kara run with Corri's GL Elerion, we decided to take equal numbers of their best and our best into the lair of King Gronn.

I must say, hats off to Nick(Arathran) and Dave (Elerion) for organising the raid so well, and to everyone else who took pains to turn up on time and be on Teamspeak.

Unfortunately, we failed to bring down the first boss and his four nasty friends, even after something like 12 times of trying. Something seemed to go wrong each time, so we called it. However, towards the end, things were beginning to gel and we were bringing down more of the adds before wiping. I think, if it hadn't been due to tiredness and lack of concentration, we might have done it. Ah well, plenty of time to try again.

BUT, despite the failure, we got along well with Corri. Like us, they seem fairly relaxed and fun to play with. We'll certainly be raiding with them again (if they want to).

After the guild recieved that "blow" from the splitters. Morale and raiding has been at a low point for everybody I believe. Some guys since then have left the guild because we seem "Destroyed" and "Broken" as far as raiding goes in there eyes, and it shows us what they where in the guild for ... the loot.

And for those still in the guild I thankyou for your patience and trust. And as a reward for that patience WE are back raiding 25man again. But lets not stop there, I propose our new guild goal to achieve together.

Mount Hyjal

It is indeed a big Jump from a Tier4 raid to a Tier6, but it is possible. It wil require us to ensure that our gear is at its best it can be and that we ALL read up on the tactics used for the bosses and the trash there. We wil also need to recruit some new members to our guild as well to be able to achieve this, so can everyone be on the lookout for new members.

Our serv crashed while we where in ZA.
So we disided to go and Raid Hogger.
There was some weird polish Guild 2.
And we downed him together :P
